Hey all, new to this Group. Thanks for having me. I’m also new to Audi’s. Just recently acquired a 2016 Audi A6 TDI Premium Plus. I’m coming from an M3. I wanted an A8 TDI and wasn’t sure of what trim levels were at the time. Wish I had researched a bit more, but i do plan on an A8 or in the future.
Comparing the two motors in stock form, I will agree with the people who say the 3.0 SC has more character. That being said, the new 3.0T produces a lot more torque out of the box and is noticeably quicker, and I prefer that engine. There is some turbo lag, but with the transmission in S it will spool up quickly.
