The daytime running lights are similar in both - 4 LED dots. Having said that, they are bigger on the LED headlights. I personally prefer the look of the LED lights plus the cornering lights are also LEDs on these versus halogen on the xenon lights (admittedly a night time difference). Compare . Xenon and Iodine. That’s one of my favorite parts of the Premium package is watching those headlights move left and right as you do. I replaced my Xenon headlights in my Cadillac CTS AWD V6. With Halogen headlights. And they plugged right into the stock wiring. Both high and low been work better then the Xenon headlights did.
Xenon. Xenon is useful in the following applications. The white flash of light produced by xenon makes it suitable for usage in strobe lights and to power ruby lasers. Xenon is used in light-emitting devices called xenon flash lamps, used in photographic flashes and stroboscopic lamps.

Consider also that with an LED strobe, managing strobe duration is far simpler than with xenon. With an LED unit you could have an infinite duration whereas xenon strobe tubes are not designed for prolonged discharge. It means you could have a strobe that doubles as a work light or other continuous source for the production. Not a bad bonus

The Xenon color chart is a tool that helps drivers understand the different colors available for HID headlights. The chart shows the color temperature of each light measured in Kelvin (K). The higher the Kelvin rating, the bluer the light will be. A lower Kelvin rating will result in yellow or amber light. The brightest HID color is pure white 1.7326 kJ/mol. 12.636 kJ/mol. Quad Vs. Non Quad Headlights One of the more common questions about headlights that we receive is "what is the difference between quad and non-quad headlights?" Luckily, it sounds far more confusing than it really is. The "quad" headlights have two headlight bulbs per headlight. The "non-quad" headlights have just one headlight bulb per headlight.

Fluorescent lights have relatively poor color rendering — 80 CRI to Xenon's 100 CRI — so they distort colors and make granite and marble countertops and backsplashes appear washed out. Furthermore, while they use much less energy than Halogen or even Xenon, they are not dimmable and some models are slow to reach full brightness. Run the wiring through the rubber grommet to the inside of the car. Remove the plastic panel underneath the dash to access the ECM, then remove the grey plug on the ECM by sliding the purple clip down. Route the wires for the headlights through the tack tie and place the pins into the empty slots: 21 and 22. Reinstall the grey plug and zip tie .
