The RF 24-105 L f/4 is an excellent lens but really should only be used with lens correction (available in all EOS R series bodies) ON. Without the internal EOS R series correction (or post correction) at wide apertures it has severe corner vignetting (up to -4 stops) and considerable geometric distortion.

IMO, it is far superior to all but the very rare great copies of the EF versions. It is on my R5 most of the time. Focusing speed, IS, and focal range make it a better all purpose lens than an adapted EF 24-70 f2.8 L II. It is hard to find a resolution difference between the two.
