You should be able to get it for $20, which is a tremendous deal considering there is no monthly fee to pay. I was a long time play of CoH/V and I really like GW2. The community is really great and friendly, and I do like the combat (I use the Immersive Combat Mod, so you might want to look into that).

I understand GW2 has no monthly fee, however, from my experience most people I know stopped playing MMOs monthly and it's a better experience. Take FFXIV, use the free trial to 60 and then buy the expansion and the game with the free month.
